At Exeqo, protecting personal data is a natural part of how we develop and deliver our services. We process personal data in accordance with the GDPR and other applicable data protection law.
Our roles under the GDPR
When our customers use Exeqo’s platform for communication, information, onboarding and other internal processes, we normally process personal data on the customer’s behalf.
The customer is then the data controller and Exeqo is the data processor.
We process this data according to the customer’s instructions and the data processing agreement between Exeqo and the customer.
Exeqo is at the same time the data controller for processing carried out for our own purposes, for example when we manage customer relationships, contracts, support, sales, marketing and our website. More information about this is in our Privacy policy.
Security
Exeqo takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against, among other things, unauthorised access, loss, alteration and unlawful disclosure.
Data protection and information security are part of our ongoing development, operation and maintenance of the platform.
Sub-processors
To provide and operate our services, Exeqo may use selected external suppliers, so-called sub-processors.
When a sub-processor processes personal data on our behalf, we impose contractual requirements on data protection and information security.
If personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we ensure the transfer is based on an approved transfer mechanism and the safeguards required under the GDPR.
A current list of our sub-processors is included in our data processing agreement and may also be requested via privacy@exeqo.se.
If you use Exeqo
If you use Exeqo through your employer or another organisation, that organisation is normally the data controller for the data in the platform.
Questions about your personal data in Exeqo should therefore first be directed to your employer or the organisation that gave you access to the service.
